Oswestry Musical Theatre Company are planning a joint fundraising event with the Royal British Legion, to mark 100 years since WW1.
The concert will be on 2nd September 2018 at The Marches School, from 3–6pm (approximately).
We are looking for as many singers as possible to join the concert; current, past and non-members of OMTC are welcome. There will be some opportunities for Junior chorus members who are currently or have previously been OMTC members.
There will be both singing and acting opportunities.
The open evening for those interested in the concert will be held at Cornerstone Church, Oswestry SY11 2HJ, on 25th June at 7–8pm. The open evening is both for performers, and for volunteers who wish to help with the performance in other ways.
Rehearsals will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings throughout July and August. You will not be expected to attend all rehearsals but we do require a good commitment.
The Musical Director is Kate MacDonald, staging with Rebekah Plaisted, and pianist Helen. Phil Box is looking after everything regarding production and front-of-house.
If you have any questions, please contact Kate via email or text 07515 518594.

Tickets are available online at http://omtc.ticketsource.co.uk/ or in Oswestry at Christian’s Jewellers on Bailey St.
OMTC’s next show, Oliver!, will be on between the 27th and 31st of May 2015.
We need your help!
Are you available to help out backstage or front of house during any of the performances of Oliver! (week ending 31st May 2015), as either:
– stage hand (shifting scenery around)
– stage manager (our stage is fairly small, there’s not that much to manage)
– prop wrangler (make sure the right person gets the right prop at the right time!)
– chaperone (child-herding)
– Tea maker extraordinary
If you can help out, the more shows you can help with the better, but if you can only do 1 or 2, that’s awesome too!
If you can help, please comment here, email email@example.com, or talk to Sam Forster at any rehearsal (normally Mondays and Thursdays at the Marches School)!
