Take a look at some pictures from a recent rehearsal. Clearly Once Upon A Time is going to be a lot of fun for the cast as well as the audience.

Apologies for the late notice here, but if you follow us on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/OswestryMusicals) you should have seen this!
Rehearsals for Oliver have started! We’ve had a music rehearsal so far just to go over what most of us already know, but anyone is still welcome to join us on Thursday the 8th (tomorrow!) at 7:30pm until about 10pm for a Commedia and Melodrama workshop, followed by audition preparation on Monday the 12th.
We’ll be in room C6, in the Wilfred Owen building. If you would like to come along, just turn up! Drop us an email at email@example.com beforehand if you’d like a friendly face to meet you.
Performances will be at the end of May (Weds 27th through Sat 30th).
Rehearsals are starting on Monday the 2nd of June (7.30-10.00pm in room C6 at The Marches School) for our next production – Sleeping beauty. This will be performed in early December 2014 (I think it’s the weekend of the 5th, 6th and 7th of December but I don’t have my notes handy). If you’re interested in taking part – whether young, old, a singer, an actor, if you’ve never been on stage, if you’ve been on stage since you were 4! We welcome anyone (but especially younger men!) – check the event on our Facebook page for details!
If you don’t fancy being on stage but can spare some time to help out with more practical things, we always need help before the show with designing, making, painting, setting up, tearing down, and moving things around. If you or anyone you know can do any of that before or during the show, let us know here or email firstname.lastname@example.org!
If you’re good with people, please consider helping our front of house team on the performance nights. Helping customers, working on the bar, selling tickets, programs, raffle tickets & generally being the face of the company. If you’re interested, let us know here or email email@example.com.
Hi everyone. Happy new year to you all. Now that the season of festivities is over, it’s straight back to the grindstone for the company. Rehearsals started in anger last night, with the announcement that auditions will be held on the 17th January.
Audition pieces are available – contact Mark or come to rehearsals (Mondays & Thursdays, 7.30pm, the Marches School) if you need details!
Aladdin is done, the stage has been struck and the magic lantern has been put back in the cave, the kids are coming down from the sugar high and the hearing of the cast & crew is slowly returning after experiencing the noise that the cubs made on Sunday afternoon.
Rehearsals are nearly done with for the year. Note I say “nearly”! There are two GOLD(!) rehearsals scheduled before the end of the year – Monday the 10th (no juniors required) and Monday the 17th December (whole company), with the final rehearsal involving some carol singing and an opportunity to drink some wine and socialise a bit after finishing at 9pm.
Songs from GOLD(!) will come from a huge variety of the shows that we’ve performed over the past 50 years, these include (though are not limited to):
No Business Like Show Business
Blow Gabriel Blow
Get Me To The Church on Time
June is Bustin’ out all Over
You’ll Never Walk Alone
Gonna Wash That Man Right Out Of My Hair
There is Nothing Like A Dame
The Lambeth Walk
One Day More
Performances will be the 10th-13th April 2013 at the Marches School, Morda Road, Oswestry, SY11 2AR.
Just a brief message as I’m on my phone.
Rehearsals for panto begin on Monday 11th June at 7.30 pm.
